  3. Nice move in Gold so far today (thank u, Bank of Japan)…now it’s Ma Yellen’s turn…no rate hike today but the hawks on the Fed may insist on a rather hawkish statement (11:00 am Pacific) to prep the market for a possible hike in December (won’t happen then, either)…Ma Yellen will see how the market reacts to the statement, and accompanying projections, and guide her words accordingly in a news conference beginning at 11:30 am Pacific…

  4. Is there any hope of GGI,DBV and CXO ever coming back to life?

    Comment by Lori — September 21, 2016 @ 6:23 am

  5. CXO occupies a big chunk of the Heart of Gold Camp with a superb project in KSP, Lori, and this Camp (richly mineralized over a wide area and a new mine coming into production) is only going to become even more active and capture more excitement with new discoveries over the next couple of years…geologists are salivating over the potential…CXO is up more than 6-fold this year, don’t forget, despite its pullback…GGI fits nicely into this Camp as well, and has other properties that are very capable of putting the stock back in favor soon enough (you make money in the market when you buy low)…DBV has a great asset in the Hat…unfortunately, Chad Day has scared off investors in the Sheslay district (for now)…DBV IMHO would be wise to focus on another property until the dynamics in the Sheslay district change…

  6. Dbv obtained the injunction against Chad day, that should have restored investor confidence in the district

  7. It gives DBV the opportunity to go back and drill, and have confidence they won’t be harassed by Chad Day and friends, but that doesn’t remove the cloud CD has cast over the area, Sameer.

  8. No move from the Fed, no surprise, and they’ve dialed down their 2016 growth estimates as well…Gold seems to be saying there likely won’t be a hike in December, either…Yellen’s news conference starts at 11:30, so we’ll see how that impacts markets…
