  2. A little more buying and WRR will break through the 3 cent wall. Drilling news soon? What do you guys think of BHT lately anything good going on there? the share price has really dropped. Down to 1.5 cents yesterday.

    To Justin Trudeau:
    In 1 Timothy 2 verses 1-4 says
….first of all that requests, prayers, intercession and thanksgiving be made for everyone..for kings and all those in authority, that we may live peaceful and quiet lives in all godliness and holiness. This is good and pleases God our Saviour, who wants all men to be saved and to come to a knowledge of the truth…..

Pray for your leadership. God always has a plan even though we may see it as a burden or hardship….

  3. EQT – by the way, the price protection was extended on the PP until the 26th, that is next Monday, so something has to give.

That’s nice volume on TYE, but they have some overhang on the offers.

Equitas Resources completes four holes at Garland

    2015-10-20 16:13 ET – News Release

    Mr. Kyler Hardy reports

EQUITAS RESOURCES CORP. UPDATES EXPLORATION PROGRAM ON ITS GARLAND NICKEL-COPPER PROPERTY

Equitas Resources Corp. has provided an update on its exploration program at the Garland nickel-copper property in Labrador, Canada.

To date, four NQ diamond drill holes, totaling 1515m have been completed. The objective of the drill program is to evaluate the remaining ten areas of conductivity prospective for nickel-copper sulphides identified through the VTEM Plus airborne survey. Of these anomalies, drilling has tested anomalies D, C, J and Q. A total of 173 samples have been sent to Activation Laboratories in Ancaster, ON for analysis, and samples are being selected for petrographic study.

Field evaluation of the twelve VTEM anomaly areas continues with Crone large loop PEM surveys. A total of 30 line km of Crone large loop Pulse Electromagnetic Survey (PEM) has been read on anomalies A, B, C, Q, G, J and I. Results of Crone borehole PEM surveys are being interpreted. Field operations to explore the remaining anomalies will continue until conditions deteriorate into winter.

In addition, the Company is conducting petrographic analysis on several samples from anomalies D and J. While weather conditions have created general delays in the program, field operations are continuing on site. A full geophysics and drilling update will be provided upon receipt and interpretation of results.

“We are satisfied with the progress of work completed to date, and await full results from the current program. Despite a very tough financing climate, Equitas is well-funded to execute on our plans to evaluate all anomalies identified on the Garland property.” said Everett Makela, Equitas’ VP Exploration.

    NI 43-101 Disclosure

Everett Makela, P. Geo., VP Exploration for Equitas Resources Corp., a Qualified Person as defined by National Instrument 43-101, supervised the preparation of the technical information in this news release.

  15. Dave However with the 2nd half of the PP
outstanding, he may be more tight lipped than usual……

    Comment by Bob — October 20, 2015 @ 2:35 pm

  16. My guess is that the first 4 holes are nothing to brag about. Could be a sell off as there was a lot of hype around this play. So far they haven’t been able to close a PP and in 4 holes they don’t have anything to get excited on.

I had high hopes for EQT….now I’m glad that I didn’t buy more and instead added more GGI instead.

They could be holding off on the big keys words in the PR because they haven’t been about to close the PP in a timely manner.

The fact that its not under heavy accumulation after 4 holes drilled tells us that they don’t have what they are looking for yet. If we still don’t see the accumulation in the next few weeks then this play is dead imo.

I will hold on in hopes that things change in the next few weeks and if it doesn’t I will redirect the money to DBV or GGI.

    Comment by DDD4 — October 20, 2015 @ 2:38 pm

  17. Its 173 samples Guy – it does not state 173 meters, however, I am to assume they didn’t see anything of great significance that stood out, OR they don’t want to say anything of that nature till the PP closes. Interesting news. Lets see how the market perceives it tomorrow.

    Comment by dave — October 20, 2015 @ 2:41 pm

    Comment by Guy Delisle — October 20, 2015 @ 2:56 pm

  20. Not that it matters, but I don’t think I’ve seen that before either, Dave. Very strange. That’s how we expect governments to work, with the Exchange taking that long. It’s an oddity and I don’t know why.

  21. DBV- This PP at .18 is 408,000$ now DBV can take this money This was impossible as long as the CDNX approves ?

    Comment by Jon - BMR — October 20, 2015 @ 3:38 pm

  23. Jon, weren’t you suppose to do another site visit at sheslay? What would be the first insight that GGI is seeing what they are looking for?

    Comment by Martin — October 20, 2015 @ 3:39 pm

  24. This is a brand new game now that they are drilling!

    Comment by Martin — October 20, 2015 @ 3:52 pm

  25. Yes, Martin, we are working on logistics regarding that, very possible. In terms of the drilling, it’ll be interesting to know the depth of the overburden. Hopefully under 50 meters. Prior to drilling it has been described as variable. 30 m or less would be really nice. Once they get into the rocks, if they’re into the right stuff, these rocks should be very altered, with obvious veining (mutli-generational, multi-directional, hopefully), with indications that they are indeed going “across the trend” which is really critical. That will show they’ve got the right geometry on the hole. As an example of that, I’ve said this before, hold your hand in front of your face. Your fingers are like the intrusives and dykes coming up from below, and it’s important of course that they carry mineralization. Those gaps between your fingers are dead zones. You want to avoid those like the plague. So if you’ve got the geometry right, you’ll drill “across the trend” and you greatly increase your odds of a successful hit.

We don’t know the exact location of this first hole. Knowing the district, I highly suspect they are drilling very close to or potentially right at the IP and mag high which is a screaming obvious first target. A couple of ways to approach that. You either drill right into the heart of that structure (again, hopefully going across the trend) or you can test the flanks of the anomaly, or, of course, both. I’m sure they’ll give that IP/mag high a good test from different directions. At a certain depth they should start to see pyrite (that’s what the chargeability high would indicate) and if it’s a juicy hole, that pyrite should turn into intense chalcopyrite. The mag high indicates magnetite. Hydrothermal magnetite hopefully, that’s a great sign in the district of good mineralization. Given the district success ratio on drill holes, and the exponential increase in knowledge of the district, it’s very reasonable to conclude that GGI has an unusually high chance of a quick discovery here, even though Grizzly Central has never been previously drilled.

The area in which they’re drilling—-it’s right on trend with the heat engine, immediately to the southeast of it. Around the world, in any exceptional porphyry environment, the model is very simple – you have a fertile pluton, intrusives and dykes are shooting out from that pluton, and it’s in those areas surrounding the pluton, in all directions, perhaps within a radius of a few km, where you typically see deposits if the fluid throughput is there. I really like the general area they picked for the start of drilling. There’s a very strong likelihood IMHO that Kaketsa has impacted that area.

  26. DBV-5 more days to wait in Chad Day case. 21 + 6 days finish Sunday 25 after that date we surely have a news.

  28. Good point Bob to your post #15.

    Comment by dave — October 20, 2015 @ 5:44 pm

  29. EQT – unfortunitely, the TA is pointing to the negative side. On stockta, the highest conf. number for resistance is now at .18 – the highest conf. number for support was at .14, but has dropped to .08.

So, the weakness may be here, but it is still early in the ball game. Trade as you see fit with your positions and here is hoping down the road shortly here they hit some sweet stuff.

I am still high on EQT and GGI as well.

I will hold my .07’s on EQT and my .05’s on GGI. I am following DBV closely D4. Hopefully that gets going soon.

    Comment by dave — October 20, 2015 @ 6:10 pm

  30. DBV – my only concern is the financing that they will have to do. This is where I think GGI has a leg up, even though DBV has a head start in drilling. If GGI can get the Mexico project going to generate some cash, they have it made and don’t have to dilute.

    Comment by dave — October 20, 2015 @ 6:14 pm

  31. With the staking rush around EQT, the massive excitement as evidenced by the huge volume in daily trading not that long ago and the tremendous team that EQT has assembled it is tough to imagine that drilling will be a bust. I think patience will be required with this one as I can’t believe Hardy was just that good as a promoter. Let the drilling and assays unfold…still early in the game.

  33. Guy , I must ask what the significance of the 6 days ?

    Comment by Les — October 20, 2015 @ 7:20 pm

  34. Dave- financing for DBV will not be an issue as some deep pockets want in and it will quickly be filled and closed imo. Look at Farshad’s history of raising money in the worst of times for juniors…..he has always found money and has always minimized dilution as much as possible.

    Comment by DDD4 — October 20, 2015 @ 7:35 pm

  35. DDD4 agree 100% with you on that re financing with Farshad, there is no telling where DBV would be stock price wise if the idiot hadn’t stopped the drilling, when you really sit back and think about it DBV really is the safest play among the 3, EQT GGI and DBV, they are the furthest along and have great results,. re thinking my positions…

    Comment by Greg — October 20, 2015 @ 9:32 pm

  36. As I recall they indicated that they had some very high conductors identified so this might be what they are analyzing.

The whole news release is a bit of a puzzle. On the one hand no high volume recently so it is not hard to agree with DDD4. On the other hand these guys don’t strike me as the type to waste money (in many cases their own) sending off just any mineralization to the labs with their fingers crossed.

So we have 173 (very) professionally selected samples sent off to the labs for further analysis and, in some cases, identification. And no volume. Hm.

    Comment by Gary — October 20, 2015 @ 10:44 pm

  37. Sorry, the first part of 36 was lost to a cut and paste boo boo. The following is the first part:

With respect to the EQT news release today I wanted to get the folks here views on their mention of the fact that they were going to conduct petrographic analysis on samples from D and J.

I can’t recall another news release ever mentioning that level of detail. It could just be a reflection of standard corporate practices at Inco/Vale. Or could it mean that they found some very unusual mineralization that required lab work to definitively identify.

(See post 36 for the rest)

    Comment by Gary — October 20, 2015 @ 10:52 pm

  38. Greg- I agree. EQT is a lottery ticket, GGI has one of the best odds of hitting out there for a grass root play and DBV has demonstrated the start of something possibly huge and just needs more drilling to confirm it. The crazy thing is that of the three, DBV has the lowest market cap but this will soon change. If one believes that this mess with the kid will end soon it represents a huge buying opportunity and one that many will regret not taking advantage of! I have plenty of share and this is the only reason I’m not still buying but it is tempting to sell EQT for it though…..

2016 is DBV’s year (and its last year trading under its present ticker imo). Hopefully it will be GGI’s year as well!

  39. Voisey’s Bay 2.0

    05:35:28 10/21/2015

Oct 21, 2015 (ACCESSWIRE via COMTEX News Network) — ZURICH, SWITZERLAND / ACCESSWIRE / October 21, 2015 / Today, mining analyst Stephan Bogner from Rockstone Research published an update on Equitas Resources Corp. (TSX.V: EQT; Frankfurt: A12CWK) as the company provided a drilling update yesterday after market close.

    Excerpt:

The discovery of the Voisey’s Bay Nickel-Copper-Cobalt Deposit in Labrador has been heralded as one of the most significant discoveries made in Canada in the last 30 years. Last month, Equitas Resources Corp. announced the start of a phase 1 drilling program on its Garland Property, some 30km southeast of the Voisey’s Bay Mine. As per yesterday’s news, 4 of 10 prospective anomalies have already been drill tested and assays are expected shortly. In the meantime, it may be worthwhile to look back at the initial discovery of Voisey’s Bay some 20 years ago. As Mark Twain said: “History never repeats itself but it often rhymes.”

  59. BLO et al – longer it takes the better IMO from a social view. Maybe 10+ years to see how Colorado fares with the wellbeing of its young smokers. tax wise, its a boon as Colorado pot rev is higher than booze tax, but that’s not a reason to experiment
with a new drug for teens, who will find a way to partake more so than now. CAMH may advocate legalizing, but they readily admit, its because the # of basketcases are swamping them and they hope that a legal system (kinda like use of Tylenol 2 and 3, oxy etc) will restrict how much gets into the youth. not holding my breath on that view !!
