BMR Morning Market Musings…

Gold has traded between $1,064 and $1,085 on this first day of 2016 trading…as of 8:30 am Pacific, bullion is up $15 an ounce at $1,076…Silver is off its highs of the day, up just 4 cents at $13.87…Copper has retreated 4 pennies to $2.08…Crude Oil, up earlier in the session, is now off 38 cents a barrel to $36.66 while the U.S. Dollar Index has reversed higher by nearly half a point to 99.14

What a start to 2016 – nothing like a dust-up between Middle East rivals to give Gold a much-needed kick…we’ll get to the Saudi-Arabia-Iran feud, and the Trudeau government’s embarrassing reaction to it, shortly…

2015 marked the 3rd straight year with net outflows for Gold exchange-traded funds, but this should reverse in 2016, according to Commerzbank…analysts cite data compiled by Bloomberg showing that Gold ETFs were reduced in 2015 by around 133 tonnes, or 8.3%, which weighed heavily on Gold prices, particularly in the 2nd half of the year, the bank says. “We expect investors to return during the course of the year, which should lend support to the price,” Commerzbank says…Silver ETF holdings in 2015 fell by 494 tonnes or 2.6%…

Equity Markets – A Learning Curve For China

The Chinese government’s handling of its stock market (not to mention its economy) is truly bizarre at times…the halt on trading after the Shanghai Composite shed 7% or 243 points overnight was the product of questionable new regulations introduced last month by Chinese authorities that backfired on the very first day they were in effect, removing liquidity and creating a sense of panic that in turn has impacted other markets around the world…the halt was China’s first-ever use of circuit breakers on main exchanges…starting today, a 5% rise or fall on the CSI 300 Index, which tracks stocks in Shanghai and Shenzhen, triggers a 15-minute trading halt…a move of 7% at any time, or 5% in the 15 minutes before markets close, stops trading for the rest of the day…the U.S. has circuit breakers but it takes a level “3” decline of 20% to stop trading for the day…

Individual investors in China, who drive more than 80% of trading, may have rushed to sell after the first circuit breaker took effect to avoid getting stuck in positions by the 7% suspension…it took just 7 minutes for the second halt to come into play as shares tumbled after the first suspension ended, according to data compiled by Bloomberg…

The drop in the Shanghai came amid the flare-up between Saudi Arabia and Iran (China is a major player in the Iranian Oil sector), while the Caixin Purchasing Managers’ Index (PMI) came in weaker than expected, spurring fresh fears over China’s economic growth…the manufacturing PMI fell to 48.2 in December, from 48.6 in November, contracting for a 10th straight month and coming in below a Reuters poll forecast for 49.0…the Caixin PMI is a closely-watched gauge of nationwide manufacturing activity, which focuses on smaller and medium-sized companies, filling a niche that isn’t covered by the official data…

“What we need to see (from China) in 2016 is further easing, more aggressive easing on both monetary and fiscal policy to really provide a substantial boost to lift the economy away from this low growth or contractionary, deflationary state that we’re in,” John Zhu, a greater China economist at HSBC, told CNBC…

Middle East Erupts Over Geopolitics, Power & Influence

Saudi Arabia (Sunni) and Iran (Shiite) have long been at odds, which in part helps explain why the Saudis have been pushing Oil prices down for more than a year, but Saudi Arabia’s execution of Shiite clerc Nimir al-Nimr over the weekend kicked off a new round of sparring between the two countries that could mark a dangerous shift in an already volatile region (the two nations are on opposite sides of conflicts in Syria, Iraq, Yemen, Bahrain and Lebanon – the worst is probably yet to come)…the Saudis have cut diplomatic ties with Iran, the Kingdom’s foreign minister announced yesterday, deciding “enough is enough” with the Islamic Republic…a Saudi source told Reuters, “Again and again Tehran has thumbed their nose at the West.  They continue to sponsor terrorism and launch ballistic missiles and no one is doing anything about it.  The Saudis really don’t care if they anger the White House.”

Saudi authorities carried out the largest mass execution in the country since 1980 on Saturday, putting 47 men to death, including the Shiite clerc al-Nimr…according to the Saudi state news agency, all of the men were convicted on terrorism charges, and most were members of Al Qaeda…the mass execution to begin 2016 follows a 20-year high of 158 executions in 2015…however, that number pales in comparison to the executions carried out by Iran last year, a point that Canadian Foreign Minister Stephane Dion decided to ignore (along with Iran’s violation of the recent nuclear accord, its state-sponsored terrorism, its destabilization of the Middle East, the fact it did not properly protect the Saudi embassy that was attacked by Tehran protesters over the weekend, the list goes on) when he condemned the Saudi executions in a statement issued yesterday…Dion said Canada is calling on the Saudi Arabian government to “protect human rights, respect peaceful expressions of dissent and ensure fairness in judicial proceedings,” adding that he is particularly concerned that the country’s execution of Sheikh Nimr al-Nimr could “further inflame” sectarian tensions in the region…the question is, why is Dion lecturing the Saudis while saying nothing about the average of 4 executions per day being carried out by a despicable Iranian regime, more executions per capita than any other country in the world?…

International human rights groups believe that Iran executed over 1,000 people last year including preachers and activists from the Islamic Republic’s Sunni minority…

“Iran’s staggering execution toll for the first half of this year paints a sinister picture of the machinery of the state carrying out premeditated, judicially-sanctioned killings on a mass scale,” said Said Boumedouha, Deputy Director of Amnesty International’s Middle East and North Africa Program, in a report issued last summer…Iranian authorities put to death more than 753 people in just the first half of 2015, according to the London-based rights group…it added that Iranian authorities only reveal a certain number of judicial executions, while the real number of those executed far exceeds the official count…

Another Example Of How Alberta Has Lost Its Way

Yet more bizarre comments from Alberta Environment Minister Shannon Phillips in a recent interview with The Canadian Press…is there any wonder why investment and human capital are both beginning to flee this once-thriving province?…

“We are entering a world that is going to be constrained with respect to (carbon),” Phillips declared.  “Alberta must be carbon-competitive with respect to our energy. It is also not something that this government created. It is a fact. Just as the science of climate change is a fact.

“We have a low price of Oil, a scientific consensus on the way the global economy is going. Within that, one must make careful and deliberate decisions on how we move forward. The way to do that is not to engage in angry navel-gazing.”

Can you imagine such utter nonsense ever coming out of the mouth of Saskatchewan Premier Brad Wall or, of course, former Alberta Premier Ralph Klein?…

God help Alberta, blessed with incredible Oil resources and now trapped in a downward spiral by an Oil-hating regime run by socialists, yoga instructors and climate change fanatics bowing to the goals and the twisted ideology of the United Nations…it may very well take a Donald Trump or a Ted Cruz to really shake things up and set things straight, not only in the U.S. but in parts of Canada and elsewhere around this messed-up world…

  3. Well here we are in 2016 and I can only imagine that assays for GGI are not far away. It has taken a lot longer than I expected but am eagerly looking forward to see what we have. To all that have hung in there let’s hope it’s not much more of a wait….and sugar coat it with a good halt.

  5. Thanks guys for starting coverage of Scandium International Mining. SCY is going to be a big winner for BMR readers. John Kaiser is the main analyst covering the coming scandium boom and all his analysis can be read for free one month after release to subcribers at Kaiser research website. Just scroll down the home page and on the right hand side, click on General Release Schedule. Kaiser looking at a $.60 to $.80 stock price in first half of this year with much more upside.

  7. Halt or not to halt. If GGI has a major discovery that is monumental in size and grade then I think they should halt. I know it’s not Steve’s thong to do which I agree with unless it is game changing.

  9. I sat on the bid for VGN for 2 weeks at .055, was able to accumulate a few shares but not a lot as it’s so thinly traded. Out of the blue today someone put in a bid for 500,000 shares at .06, obviously someone has suddenly taken a keen interest in it. Maybe it’s going to finally start to move.

  10. Did everyone get their TFSA loaded up today on their favorite pick today ? Cheap prices may not hold out much longer with assays soon to be announced.

  11. Jeremy – resistance at .86 – if it breaks through, it has very little resistance to 1.46 – support at .75 and then strong support at .63

John – Is SCY generating revenue? They have 200 mil shares out – What would justify their share price going to .60 in first half of 2016.

  12. just catch up on something, dec 10 when ggi announce the new sets of holes would start gc-2015-06 as they where redefining target. So lests say 3, 4 days for that and preparing drill pad. My point is the last four pics where gc-15-06 not other pics of 15-05.

    Comment by Martin — January 4, 2016 @ 6:26 pm

  13. So we are short of explaination from two holes now, they probably drilled it south of hole 5, my guess according to the original plan

    Comment by Martin — January 4, 2016 @ 6:34 pm

  14. They haven’t winterized the camp just to play cards and drink beer, so Jon, what do you think of the last 2 holes?

    Comment by Martin — January 4, 2016 @ 6:40 pm

  15. If there’s any beer up at that camp, Martin, it may get consumed rather quickly in celebration – let’s hope so, anyway. The significance of hole 4 is that it was a big step-out and also appears to host what was in the discovery hole which we’re calling #3, based on core descriptions. All we have to go on with hole 5 are some photos, and some are clearly quite interesting, but keep in mind that hole 5 was drilled into a geochem anomaly toward the east, not a mag high or an IP high. It may reveal something different. This is all very fascinating and has major (positive) implications for both the Hat and the Star as well. The district is going beyond Cu-Au porphyry, as we hypothesized in our Sunday Sizzler Report, and I suspect there are different mineralized domains/deposits on each of the 3 properties drilled to date (the northern part of the Hat has never been touched, for example – probably much more prospective than originally thought). Everything is possible, from high-grade epithermal Gold to other metals. As far as Kaketsa goes, if the standard model from other districts around the world is any guide, there will be a ring of systems on all sides of it – north, south, east and west. Grizzly Central is just the start.

    Comment by Jon - BMR — January 4, 2016 @ 7:19 pm

  16. Jon, doesn’t that geochemical anomaly extend for more than a kilometer north/south direction? If that’s the case it’s possible there are two different deposit types sitting adjacent to each other. And to think they have only scratched the surface at Grizzly central.

    Comment by Dan1 — January 4, 2016 @ 7:34 pm

  17. Thx Dave… makes sense that 86 would be taken out quickly I think..

    Comment by Jeremy — January 4, 2016 @ 7:50 pm

  18. Dave – Regarding Scandium International mining. No revenue yet. It’s coming soon. Mine production is set for 2017. We are in the speculative phase here. (please everyone read John Kaiser’s comments for free at kaiserbottomfish.com)Just scroll down the right side and click on General Release Schedule. Just think what the first reliable source of Scandium ever will do for the airline industry. For example, scandium makes aluminum 20% lighter! Weight reduction is the holy grail of the airlines. It also welds stronger than rivets hold, so airplanes will no longer need rivets. More weight reduction. Boeing and Airbus are already sniffing around. All they need is a reliable supply of scandium which will be provided by SCY and another company called Cleanteq headed by billionaire Robert Friedland. This is big. People like Friedland don’t bother with chicken shat. Scandium has hundreds of other applications. Think auto industry etc. All that’s been needed is a reliable supply and now we have it with these two deposits in mining friendly Australia.
No offence to the BMR crew (you guys are terrific) but Kaiser is probably the #1 speculative junior mining analyst on the planet. He calls SCY a “no brainer”.
So with BMR beginning coverage of SCY, we have 3 analysts covering the stock. John Kaiser and Dr. Michael Berry of Disruptive Discoveries Journal being the others. I could go on and on but Kaiser does it best. I personally own over 1.6 million shares of SCY so I am biased but I also have put my money where my mouth is. Please check it out people. SCY is going to be a massive homerun.

    Comment by John — January 4, 2016 @ 7:51 pm

  19. Martin, they said that they would drill hole 6 after they had results from holes 1-3. We have not had any announcement that they are drilling. I think that they have shut down for Christmas and new year. What makes you think that hole 6 has been drilled?

    Comment by Tom UK — January 5, 2016 @ 1:52 am

  20. martin, I don’t think the last core pics are from Hole 6. I think they will analyze assay results (looking at pathfinder elements etc.) to get the best picture and make an informed decision for where to drill Hole 6. just my thoughts….Cheers

    Comment by Foz1971 — January 5, 2016 @ 5:07 am

  21. I must admit I am getting a bit concerned regarding how good the results for GGI will be. I really hope Regoci is not over hyping what they have found. I have just re-read the NRs and this caught my attention from the Nov. 10 release:

”The geology speaks volumes for the potential to add to the unfolding story of the Sheslay district where two porphyry deposits have already been defined including Doubleview Capital’s gold-rich Hat discovery 10 km east of our current drilling.”

The way the interviews and quotes have been portrayed, I was hoping for much better grades than what has been found at the Hat. Personally I would not class DoubleView’s results as ”gold-rich”. If Regoci is using the Hat as a benchmark, then maybe the market will be disappointed with what will actually be reported.

  23. Jon, what is your opinion on KSK? Do you think the stock is worth investing into? They have cash, good properties and the backing of a major. Just perplexed as to why the SP is where it is.

    Comment by Dan1 — January 5, 2016 @ 7:15 am

  24. Expecations for GGI’s first results have been set too high…..I expect the results to be promising but a lot of work will be needed imo. I have been warning everyone for a while and taking a lot of heat for it……I have nothing to gain or lose in GGI’s success unless I become a shareholder again……I will wait to see what the have first. Comparing it to DBV doesn’t make sense at this stage…..DBV is has done a lot more work and drilling…..consequently they have a better understanding of the geology.

    Comment by DDD4 — January 5, 2016 @ 8:03 am

  25. According to Dr razique the hat is gold-rich, the Doubleview technical team, led by chief geoscientist Dr. Abdul Razique, believes that Anomalies “A”, “B” (Lisle Zone) and “E” collectively comprise a single alkalic gold-rich copper porphyry system within a much larger Hat Complex that also includes Anomalies “C”, “D”, and the Hoey and Gossan Creek prospects southeast of the Lisle Zone.

    Comment by moemoney — January 5, 2016 @ 8:05 am

  26. Even with Dr Razique’s help and understanding of the complex Sheslay geology I expect GGI will need more time to better understand and uncover what lies at the Grizzly.

    Comment by DDD4 — January 5, 2016 @ 8:06 am

  27. DDD4, nobody knows what the GGI results will be until assays are released, but we do know the XRF analyzer got them excited. Why do you think results will not be something spectacular?

    Comment by Dan1 — January 5, 2016 @ 8:28 am

  28. DDD4, as you know, I’m very bullish on the prospects of the Hat as a large-scale alkalic copper-gold porphyry system, but I have a question for you given all your due diligence and “sources”. Can you tell me please what the gross total metal value per tonne of rock is at the Hat, as defined by the drill results to date, and the possible tonnage of the Lisle Zone as it currently has been defined through the first 23 holes?

    Comment by Jon - BMR — January 5, 2016 @ 8:35 am

  29. DDD4 – He would prefer people to buy DBV which he owns rather than GGI which he doesn’t, IMHO.

    Comment by 02charoc — January 5, 2016 @ 8:42 am

  30. Jon- its better for me to not say much about the potential size of the HAT and what my sources have indicated as I’m still accumulating…..lol. Bought some yesterday and still have a bid in…

    Comment by DDD4 — January 5, 2016 @ 8:47 am

  31. DDD4, the question is not about the potential size of the Hat – the system ultimately could stretch for several km – but based on the 23 holes drilled to date (with results), and the grades, what is your calculation of the gross metal value per tonne of rock?

    Comment by Jon - BMR — January 5, 2016 @ 8:50 am

  32. 02charoc- have I been promoting DBV recently? No I haven’t and it won’t need it……plus why convince people to buy DBV when I’m still accumulating?

    Comment by DDD4 — January 5, 2016 @ 8:51 am

  33. DDD4 – Did you not realize that you just promoted DBV above? Also, telling us that you are accumulating is a promotion in itself because not its not a secret? wow

    Comment by 02charoc — January 5, 2016 @ 9:00 am

  34. DDDD4 – why do you keep telling us what your doing (promoting) with DVB, its obvious that no one cares its also obvious that your constantly bashing GGI…why??

    Comment by Jeff — January 5, 2016 @ 9:10 am

  35. I cannot understand all the controversy over which company is the better one, GGI or DBV.If one or both have great assays the whole district plus shareholders will benefit greatly.
I just feel that it is not a competition, and as Jon says we should be rooting for both to be successful. Just my thoughts.

    Comment by Terry — January 5, 2016 @ 9:15 am

  36. I guess DDD4 is accumulating GGI as well given his comments and negative sentiment?

    Comment by Dan1 — January 5, 2016 @ 9:24 am

  37. DDD4 – so then I guess you are selling DBV and accumulating GGI?

    Comment by 02charoc — January 5, 2016 @ 9:27 am

  38. GBB – fwiw – roger was calling around in Dec trying to muster up mkt troops. They expect a ‘ruling’ in mid Jan about the CoA and if not will take it to the Supreme court, to get it advanced. This is all from a conversation with Rog. otherwise , they have cleared the land , dewatered pits etc, ready to go, if they have the upfront cash ($1/2MM)for the milling agreement with IAM who are operating at 50%. Genivar, wouldn’t say what the deal was, other than $1MM is off of their balance sheet. Which IMO means no cash, less owing on the GBB A/R. Roger bot 250K shrs and Frank 50K in Dec , all FWIW. Lots of other wild hand waving about value, but until Que gives them the go-ahead, all means nada

  39. I share my DD and opinions from geos with close friends, some of which read BMR. Unfortunately I will not share the info with BMR due to the lack of respect from readers here….why would I share with this group the DD that the average investor doesn’t have access to (geo interpretations, etc)? Even if I benefit financially in a higher stock price I won’t share it here. Knowledge and DD is key to success in the markets….

    Comment by DDD4 — January 5, 2016 @ 9:35 am

  40. SCY – nice story. worth the watch. I’m sure Kaiser is happy to have another pair of unpaid eyes following it. As for Kaiser’s standing in resource, geesch, he’s working his way back up. The diamond flop(s) have been murderous on his record IMO. starting way back w Fipke and Attawapiskat to the semi-current bold call he made on Eric Freidland’s diamond play.

    Comment by david — January 5, 2016 @ 9:36 am

  41. DDD4, it doesn’t take much “due diligence” to come up with a gross metal value per tonne of rock. If you’re complaining about lack of respect from BMR readers, don’t be blaming them.

I bring up the issue of metal value because if our suspicions are correct, based on the core descriptions and photos released by GGI, there is a high-grade component to this Grizzly Central discovery, and there’s nothing like high-grade to boost the value of a discovery and a deposit.

    Comment by Jon - BMR — January 5, 2016 @ 9:36 am

  42. Yes, SCY is an interesting story, David. There are some companies listed on the Australian exchange as well that are worth looking at for those interested in this metal.

  44. Post 21 – sorry about my ”wobble” earlier today 🙂

I don’t want to start (or contribute) to a DBV V GGI argument, but I don’t think that the first 22 holes at the Hat are that good. The grades are mediocre/low and there is a lot of overburden. To hear Regoci describe it as ”gold rich” surprises me.

I don’t know what the market expects from GGI’s first few holes, but if they hit 0.7% CuEq or better or 1g/t gold in the gold sections that Regoci mentions, then I think that is an excellent start. I don’t know how many new eyes are watching this play from the side lines, but if the grades are good then we could see a large influx of new investors.

They filled the PP with no advertising and they winterized the camp – my two positive thoughts to combat any future wobbles.

  47. “I don’t think that the first 22 holes at the Hat are that good”

    I agree!

    Comment by DDD4 — January 5, 2016 @ 10:42 am

  48. Guy, I would be hoping that anything below the overburden mentioned would all be mineralised. So the deposit would start at about 30m below surface at holes 1-3 and 14m below surface on hole 4.

Regoci has mentioned that there are different types of deposit and I am guessing that this will be reflected in the different types of rock in the photographs. These different deposits will be lying on top of each other which is why the ” dark, strongly magnetic mafic unit with fine-grained pyrite along shear surfaces” which is found in holes 1,3 and 4 could all be the same type of porphyry with a different deposit above.

The length on hole 4 therefore is 300m plus, as they finished the hole in mineralisation. This could be wishful thinking but they were very excited after hole 3 which led them to decide to winterize the camp.

  49. I just have to say that I have always enjoyed reading the posts here each day on BMR and I look forward to the information and opinions that several posters including DDD4 have always put forward. I for one am very disappointed at a few of the recent comments towards DDD4 as I don’t seem him posting anything in an attacking, unprofessional or drastically negative manner. Personally I am quite excited about the Shelsay potential and understand that GGI is much newer in their exploration process compared to others in the region. When GGI puts out assay results later this month, we will finally have some facts to digest instead of trying to speculate on visuals or reading between the lines of news releases. There is no question the expectations for GGI on this board are very high and I hope they prove correct, but we all have to be wary about the sell on news history that many times presents itself when investors are over enthusiastic.

Trying to keep in honest and civil.

  50. DDD4 – With all due respect, how have you helped BMR readers, investors at all? You say the readers have received lack of respect but you haven’t given anyone anything to respect. All you have done is pump DBV, bash GGI based on your extensive DD and sources. Can you explain what information that benefited readers you have posted?

    Comment by Guy Delisle — January 5, 2016 @ 11:24 am

  52. I’m very limited in what I can say here. No matter what I say it will be criticized so I will let the truth machines (drill rigs) do the talking….too much that people don’t know of to properly understand my comments.

    Comment by DDD4 — January 5, 2016 @ 11:42 am

  53. Guy, they are a few photographs that try and give us an idea of what is there. The NRs tell us that they stretch for many meters. Fair play to the NRs from GGI, even a non-geo dumbo like myself can get a pretty good impressions of what is there and how the deposit is made up. Here is an example of what I mean and you can tie it in with some of the photographs on the website:

”The third hole, collared 200 meters due south of GC-15-01, has intersected a very thick mafic unit from near-surface to a depth of at least 308 meters. Fine-grained disseminated chalcopyrite was observed between 31 m and 86 m, beginning directly beneath the glacial till. This transitioned into an intensely altered zone between 86 m and 102 m featuring 40% quartz veins hosting sulfides. Creamy white quartz contains black and grey sulfides with pyrite along the margins, cut by clear aphanitic chalcedony veins. The rock in this 16-m zone is dark red to maroon, magnetic and fine-grained.

Notably, throughout a 205.6-m intersection from 102.4 m to 308 m, pyrite occurs as very fine-grained polished shear surfaces in a black, strongly magnetic unit.”

  54. If all the 8 last pics are front hole 5 than is even better. At least two off them are bonanza. My concern is that none of what we have is reflected in the trading activities since dec 22

  55. DDD4 – Are you suggesting that you have insider information where you could be charged by the OSC for this info if handed out? Otherwise, I dont understand why what you can say is limited?

    Comment by 02charoc — January 5, 2016 @ 12:02 pm

  56. DDD4 , I agree the grades are not that great , all the more reason that DBV must get back drilling to complete hole # 25 to a much greater depth and hopefully with similar results as compaired to Red Chris. Keep up the good work .

  57. DDD4, I would nicely recommend you back off a little. Take a second and think about your play.

    PS: I’m not an enemy…

  58. Limited meaning I can’t post some info here which is negative on ggi…..

    Comment by DDD4 — January 5, 2016 @ 1:19 pm

  59. I have never spoken to any insider of any company in approx 14 years now as I learned my lesson about speaking to management/insiders….I ended up with the biggest losses of my life because it clouded my judgement of the situation.

    Comment by DDD4 — January 5, 2016 @ 1:24 pm

  60. Everything I know can be shared publically…..it’s just DD, opinions, geo interpretations, etc…..once I’m more respected here I will probably share my DD and info. I’m misunderstood because I can’t fully express myself. People think I have an agenda….just passing on info that I heard….that’s it…..

    Comment by DDD4 — January 5, 2016 @ 1:32 pm

  61. Why is it Jon geos BMR talk to, compared to Geos DDD4 has been speaking to share completely different opinions on what GGI has possibly uncovered at Grizzly Central?

    Comment by Dan1 — January 5, 2016 @ 1:37 pm

  62. DDD4, you have had plenty of opportunities to share your DD before now. I for one asked you to share it months ago but you did not. If you did share it then maybe people would have some respect for you, but you have lost that chance as you never back up your comments regarding GGI.

  63. 02charoc – People every day have inside info on stocks that trade everyday. The exchange is not going to come after you unless you are one in a field where restriction from buying and selling. If I told you I know what plan B is with EQT, do you really think the exchange would come after me or the person who told me.

This board has turned worse than SH.

  64. DDD4 or anybody else should be able to post their opinion on this site. They pay their money just like anybody else. If you don’t like what is posted, don’t read it.

I was criticized for EQT, yet look how many posts on GGI, and some knowing supposedly that they have a discovery. Do you not call that pumping?

    Comment by dave — January 5, 2016 @ 3:08 pm

  65. DDD4 – now I totally understand you are a nutbar with your own agenda. You have said many times here that you can’t post what your sources have to you or who your sources are. Now you are saying that it can be posted but you don’t want to. I will not ever comment or respond to anything you post.

    Comment by George — January 5, 2016 @ 3:23 pm

  66. Dave – sorry but I don’t see the point of your post. I was speaking to DDD4. One days he says he has all this info that can’t be posted to protect his sources, then he says it’s all base on DD, then he says he just doesn’t want to post it because he doesn’t want us to know.

    Comment by George — January 5, 2016 @ 4:07 pm

  67. George, you may disagree with another poster’s opinion or agenda or whatever you want to call it, but this isn’t supposed to be Stockhouse, so a little more civility is in order – and I’m not just referring to you or your previous post. I don’t know if a bunch of people woke up on the wrong side of the bed today or what, but some of today’s comments were very strange indeed. But that’s what makes a market. Can’t wait for the rest of January to unfold, and I say that in the context of our report Sunday. Enough said.

  68. Wow what has happened to this board..LOL? I am glad I didn’t publicly post the day I sold my GGI position several weeks ago or I may have been attacked for it. Good luck to all and DDD4 hope you don’t stop posting.

    Comment by Jamie — January 5, 2016 @ 4:33 pm

  69. George – You posted the other day that no one cared about my charts. So in essence, you were speaking for everyone else by saying “no one”. Well, I have always said that I call it like it is and thats all I did with that post. Maybe, just maybe someone did care.

Jon, thank you for post #67. It was justified.

    Comment by dave — January 5, 2016 @ 4:48 pm

  70. Also, my earlier post on DDD4 was generic and did not call anyone out. It was generalized, I did not put the word George in there.

Everybody, lets get back to why we are here. If you don’t like a post, just don’t let it bother you if you feel strongly that you believe otherwise. Attacking the poster does nothing for the credibility of this site and it sure as heck does not put green in our pocket.

    Comment by dave — January 5, 2016 @ 4:54 pm

  71. GGI Oversold. The consensus seems to be that the results are so-so. How do you reconcile that with high expectations?

    Comment by ConcernedCitizen — January 5, 2016 @ 4:58 pm

  72. Jamie, that’s a good question, because this board has consistently been civil and informative, but human nature is such that it doesn’t take much sometimes to turn things into a circus. When that starts to happen, we’ve always taken the necessary and appropriate steps to fix the problem. As simple as that. At this point, we just encourage everyone to abide by the posting rules.
