I haven’t seen any speculation on who the major mining co is that is partnering with Eskay Mining, any ideas?

    Comment by GREGH — February 4, 2017 @ 9:25 pm

  6. For starters, Gregh, it’s a company not currently active in the district which is a great thing, and that’s not a difficult guess. Obviously being kept a closely guarded secret as nothing has leaked yet which is surprising in this business. Time is running out for Kirkland Lake Gold to make a decision on their first right of refusal. Will be fun to watch – let’s see what unfolds by mid-month. Investor interest in ESK will build – there is no doubt in my mind about that. The SIB is a superbly attractive property with a 5 km stretch of Eskay rocks and stratigraphy, a perfect match. Best chance in the entire district for another Eskay Creek-type discovery is on the SIB, plain and simple. They will drill deeper than in the past, likely 1,000 m or so under the Coulter Creek thrust fault where an Eskay system is interpreted to be.

  8. Hey Jon…what’s your thoughts on GGI financing? Any predictions? Do you think they will let the share price run for awhile before financing?

    Comment by weatheritout — February 5, 2017 @ 6:28 am

  9. weatheritout, GGI is really in the driver’s seat on that note right now, a good position for them to be in for a change. Keep in mind, there are no major funds in GGI right now, so the stock has been cleaned up over the last couple years to the extent that there are no big players, no brokers, who can play any games and manipulate the price down for financing purposes, so that answers your question. Retail is King with this one, very bullish. I predict that whatever happens, Secutor is out of the picture (this is way beyond them now) and the biggest component will be hard dollars (non-flow-through) which is good. Major interest, so let them fight for it.

When you say Secutor is out of the picture what exactly do you mean?

    Comment by Greg — February 5, 2017 @ 9:16 am

  11. What I meant was, Secutor specializes in flow-through — and of course they also specialize in selling that paper, no matter which company it is, before the 4-month hold is even up…the E&L is such a strong story that I imagine Secutor being left right out of any financing privileges, and hard dollars will dominate anyway.

  13. Hello Jon,

I’m back at it (stock market). I looked in the recent ‘posts’ of BMR to find few plays to jump in right now but there is so many that I couldn’t decide ! Is it possible for you to identify your 5 or 6 prefered hot stocks that are susceptible to see some action in short amount of time?

If you can do that, I will do my own DD from there and it’ll give my the chance to jump in fast and maybe few other subscribers will appreciate it too!

In any way I thank you very much!
    Have a nice evening!
