Visible Gold Mines (VGD, TSX-V) is rapidly advancing its understanding of the Wasa Creek and Wasa East Properties, optioned from Cadillac Mining (CQX-TSX-V) and immediately adjacent to Richmont Mines‘ (RIC, TSX) growing Wasamac deposit which has rekindled exploration interest in this under-explored area west of Rouyn-Noranda.
Jon had a fascinating discussion with Dallaire late this afternoon as the VGD President and CEO sipped on a Tim Horton’s coffee and elaborated on Monday’s news concerning exciting developments at Wasa Creek in particular. Simply click on the link below to listen to the 14-minute interview (a second interview focusing on the Joutel Project will be conducted in the coming days).
BMR Sept. 13 Interview With VGD’s Martin Dallaire
Note: The interviewer holds a position in Visible Gold Mines.
Thanks Jon, nice work,
Martin says they will very aggressive about aquisition!
No junior exploration company seems to have this business models, If i had a property i would have them explore it in a JV.

Thanks, Martin, exactly…makes perfect sense for Cadillac, for example, to enter into a JV with VGD on their 7 Wasa claims…..

Thanks Jon, I am investing in VGD and your interest in it and your work is really helpfull to VGD’s investor. I think VGD is safer than CQX since the volume of CQX is too low. My 2 questions if you talk again to Martin, the fact their is Cobalt, would it increase the cost of getting the gold out? And is there an additionnal value in extracting the cobalt while working on extracting gold on this property?
Thanks

Hi Jean-Raymond, the “Cobalt” group refers to the younger sedimentary rocks that overlay the older archean rocks but north of the cadillac fault at Wasa Creek, there appears to be no cobalt cover at all…….underneath the cobalt sediments, as dallaire and stoch mentioned yesterday, you have the complete cadillac fault package………it’s an extraordinarily under-explored area that offers incredible potential because too many geologists were afraid to explore in this region because of these younger sedimentary rocks in many areas…..expect to see several new deposits discovered as dallaire predicted….

GBB out with drill results and the share price heads south – what is going on here??
Comment by Hugh — September 14, 2011 @ 7:40 am
Good results, I would say…..GBB is now technically oversold and the results in my view have strengthened the upcoming 43-101…sometimes the market makes no sense but as the saying goes, buy on weakness…

I agree Jon, thats why I am so suprised we didnt get a little lift here – well I guess I am in this because of the long term story – hence I didnt sell when it was at 90 …wish I had, I could have nearly tripled my holding today – where’s captain hindsight 🙂

not to worry, GBB will reverse higher I’m sure…..the big thing of course with GBB that everyone is waiting for is the 43-101….

Just listened to the interview with Martin D. and i for one am very encouraged to hear someone who is so full of excitement and anticipation for a project that they are working on. It gets me excited to be a shareholder. The aggressive nature of the drilling in this area leads me to believe that there is something big in the ground here. To hear Martin say that he believes there will be 5 or more deposits in the area totalling 10 million ounces or more in the next few years can only mean that Visible Gold Mines will be apart of that action. Eagerly awaiting assay results.

I would agree, Ed. Wait until u hear the interview with Martin Rivard of Richmont regarding Wasamac. He, too, sees great possibilities for this entire area and the potential emergence of a whole new mining camp with a mill at Wasamac and other deposits likely discovered.
