The 6th annual Beaver Creek Precious Metals Summit kicked off today in Colorado!
Nestled in a world-class resort in the majestic Colorado Rocky Mountains, the Summit experience delivers an unbeatable combination of professionally organized 1-on-1 meetings; convivial, unstructured networking; and dynamic, insightful keynote presentations (that’s the pitch anyhow).
I’ve cherry-picked information from presenters that I’m sure will be of interest to BMR subscribers, portions of which may not be included in the corporate presentation but were comments made by the CEO. Please take a look below.
Northern Shield Resources (NRN, TSX-V)
NRN had a good day in the market, closing up 3 cents at 23 cents on volume of 581,000 shares. John will have an updated chart in the morning. NRN neighbor Clean Commodities (CLE, TSX-V) was off a penny on light volume at 9 cents (extreme oversold RSI-2 conditions).

Big miss on retail sales, and that’s another killer for any rate hike…producer prices unchanged but underlying inflation firms—- health care costs, which feed into the Fed’s preferred inflation measure, increased 0.4% last month after rising 0.3% in July (isn’t Obamacare great?)…

Excellent initial results from Snip reported by Skeena mid-day yesterday, now that there has been some time to review them…high-grade intercepts in each and every hole (first 8 holes reported yesterday), comparable to results reported by Pure Gold (PGM, TSX-V) at its Madsen Project…grades as high as 59.5 g/t Au…I counted 17 key intercepts in the 8 holes, nearly 80% of them 10 g/t Au or better…best hole #6, 13.5 m grading 16.2 g/t Au including 4.5 m @ 31 g/t Au deep into the footwall of the Twin zone, 200 m below historical production area – open up-dip, very nice…at least 2 new high grade vein structures, open along strike, identified in the Lamp zone to the east of the original mine workings through holes #2 and #3…no reason for this stock not to push higher on these results…Snip is coming back to life, and that’s going to be great for the camp…

Orex Exploration (OX, TSX-V) Alert – just completed first tranche of financing, raising $1.36 million at a nickel…new chairman and interim CEO, so new blood and things are on the move…stock trading at 4.5 cents…immediate buy…730,000 ounces of Gold resources, including a PEA, for Goldboro Project…no-brainer!!…

Great results for SKE, Laddy…if you look closely at PGM’s Madsen, also a former high-grade producer, numbers are very comparable…significantly, each and every hole (8 altogether) at Snip in these initial results returned high-grade intercepts, consistent with historical results…at least 4,000 more meters to go, so plenty to speculate on and look fwd to – they are well on track to proving their theory on this one…
Don’t be fooled by Gold’s weakness this morning…going higher.
