The Week In Review And A Look Ahead

TSX Venture Exchange and Gold

Despite Friday’s late session retreat on profit taking, it was another fabulous week for the Venture which again led North American equity markets to the upside with a gain of 3.2%.  The Venture is where the best money is being made in 2016, yet the masses haven’t caught on to this fact yet (that’s good).

On Thursday the mainstream media celebrated how the Dow, S&P 500 and the NASDAQ simultaneously closed at record highs – the last time that happened was December 31, 1999 – but the Venture’s 59% advance in 2016 obliterates the returns on those markets and puts the Index on track to win this year’s Gold medal for the world’s best-performing exchange (Brazil is next at the moment with a return of 34% in its local currency).

Those who think it’s “too late” to be loading up on Venture opportunities are in for a BIG SURPRISE!

  1. Thanks for your update from Regoci , Pole. It would seem no drilling this season at King, with only couple months left of summer. In this time he would need to get the share price up, presumably by getting something done ( in Mexico maybe? ) and reported on, then doing a PP and getting that finished and then arranging a driller and getting that done.
Let’s hope he can feed off some Golden Triangle closeology this year.
Or am I being too pessimistic?

  2. GGI has no good reason for not drilling the King, PaulH, as they continue on the property, sampling, mapping and prioritizing drill targets. September would be the time for drilling. Skeena directly to the south should be drilling imminently at the Snip. Both GGI and Skeena have their drill permits. Aben’s permits are pending (around month-end we suspect) and thanks to significant historical data, they already have a clear idea where they would drill. They’ll also be conducting extensive field work along that newly acquired belt. Tudor has started drilling at Treaty Creek. CXO of course continues drilling at KSP. Teuton is carrying out some drilling while Eskay is conducting a field re-evaluation of the Corey. Seabridge and Pretium are also drilling exploratory targets.

  3. Have I misunderstood this and they have enough for some initial drilling then?

  4. Like I said, they have no good reason for not drilling, PaulH – money isn’t the issue in the sense that in this current market, and with the way the Camp is evolving, whatever they need to drill the King is available. They drill the King and get their act together in Mexico, you’ve got a much different looking stock.
