The Venture Week In Review And A Look Ahead

From AltaGas Camp Near McLymont Hydroelectric Facility, SE of Eskay Creek

The Venture continues to tease the bulls with the Index dancing on the edge of a breakout into the 780’s and beyond.   The catalyst could come from one or more companies aiming to tap into the incredible metal endowment of the Eskay Camp.

The Eskay Creek mine, one of the richest ore discoveries ever (precious metal enriched VMS, main shaft on right side of photo). The Nickel Mountain Nickel-Copper discovery, 11 miles to the southwest, is a younger mafic-ultramafic event that post-dated VMS-style mineralization in the area (BMR photo).

Did you know that for as little as just over $2 a day, you can be a BMR subscriber and tap into the best analysis and picks for the junior resource sector that you’ll find anywhere, including coverage of game-changing discoveries that have already made some of our subscribers fortunes?

  1. Great to see GGI ramping up camp size . They don’t waste money for nothing.

  2. Hey Jon… are you able to go into GGI’s camp or does protocol keep most visitors off the property

  3. We just drove by yesterday, Weatheriout, on our way to the Eskay Creek mine – the build-up of the GGI camp was very obvious. Core is guarded like Fort Knox at a nearby location less than a km away from the accommodations. Keep in mind, as well, that there is a locked gate at the beginning of the Eskay mine road just off the main highway, and another locked gate at a bridge just past km 40.

  4. A correction to this morning’s Week In Review – Jon inserted the wrong Venture chart (2-yr instead of 6-month)…fixed at 2 pm Pacific.

  5. Jon, any signs of the 2nd drill rig for GGI yet?

  6. The fact they’ve significantly expanded the size of the Camp, pole, tells me that a second rig is either there now at Nickel Mountain or imminently arriving. No clear views of the mountain the last few days due to cloudy/rainy weather, but high pressure is moving in and sunny skies are expected to return by tomorrow or Tuesday.

  7. Thanks Jon. Next week should be very exciting.

  8. Re GGI
Since July 27 about 56M share have traded on CDNX and about 3.3 M in the US
Using stockcharts data, it looks like about 12M shares have been accumulated.
An effort seems to have been made to keep the price in the current range [until PP is closed???] during the last 3 trading days.
Price and volume are saying …….. + [time will tell!]
