From Cobalt, Ontario: The Week In Review And A Look Ahead

There are more fortunes to be made in the Northern Ontario Cobalt Camp, but selectivity is the key…

A view from Nipissing Lookout with the town of Cobalt, the birthplace of Canadian hard rock mining, in the background. Between 1904 and 1932 the Nipissing Mining Company produced 93 million ounces of Silver and paid out $24.5 million in dividends. Cobalt, plentiful in the district, was used to guide the “oldtimers” into the exceptionally high-grade Silver. Now it’s the the focus of attention for multiple companies, and Canada Cobalt has emerged as the front-runner in the race for extraction (BMR photo, July 21, 2018).

  1. Well, it must be something very significant to divert Jon from travelling to the Eskay camp to the Canada Cobalt mine site. Because we all know that Nickel Mountain is the main attraction here on this forum and as been for quite some time.
Jon, hope you don’t miss the GGI fireworks! Having said that, the company has been very quiet since drilling started. Hopefully it is a good sign and they do indeed hit at HC1.

  5. Hi Jon, I noticed there is tight trading volume in so many picks – GGI, GTT, ABen, MTS, IMR, CLM, CCW, etc. So unless one accumulates such stocks, you can “miss the boat” like CCW last week, GGI last year etc. Any suggestions?

  7. By CCW ramping up does this mean they are going to sell large amounts of cobalt sulphate without a mill?
